CJ Snare
Carl Jeffrey Snare (December 14, 1959 – April 5, 2024) was an American singer best known for being the frontman and founding member of the hard rock/glam metal band FireHouse. Snare co-wrote most of the band's songs and has had seven songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts, four of which were top 40. He also appeared periodically with his other band, Rubicon Cross, and occasionally appeared with Scrap Metal. Personal life and death Carl Jeffrey Snare was born on December 14, 1959, in Washington, D.C to Buck and Barbara Snare. He had two sons and one daughter. In September 2020, he was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. In September 2023, he took a hiatus from FireHouse to undergo abdominal surgery in October. Although he intended to return to the band for their shows in summer 2024, he died on April 5, 2024 from cardiac arrest. He was 64. ''FireHouse'' is the debut album by American glam metal band FireHouse. Released in 1990, it launched the group into stardom. The record was certified double platinum in the United States and gold in Canada, Japan and Singapore. Good Acoustics
''Good Acoustics'' is the fourth studio album by the hard rock band FireHouse. It was released in 1996 on Epic Records. The album featured acoustic versions of several of the band's biggest hits. However, it also featured four new songs (one being an Eagles cover song which was the band's remake of the Eagles' cover of Steve Young's Seven Bridges Road). The album was a commercial flop in the United States compared to the first three albums, making it the first Firehouse album not to enter the Billboard charts. However, it did chart in Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines, where the album was certified gold thanks to hit songs "You Are My Religion", "Love Don't Care" and "In Your Perfect World". A music video for "Love of a Lifetime" was shot entirely in Chao Praya River in Bangkok, Thailand. ''3'' is the third studio album by American hard rock band FireHouse. It was released in 1995 on Epic Records. It featured a softer sound than their previous two albums, although unlike many glam metal bands at that time, Firehouse did not change its sound despite the domination of grunge rock and alternative rock in the mainstream music industry by the time of the album's release. Despite the album not selling as well as previous releases, it spawned the hit signature power ballad in " I Live My Life for You", reaching 26th on the ''Billboard'' Top 100. The album was placed 66th in the ''Billboard'' Top 200 and was certified gold in other countries.
