CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited (CK, ) is a Thai contractor and construction firm, operating in Thailand and Laos. The second-largest construction firm in Thailand, CH. Karnchang was founded in 1972 in Bangkok, by Plew Trivisvavet and his four brothers. Supamas Trivisvavet became president and CEO in 2015. Bangkok rail transit CH. Karnchang has constructed various metro lines in Bangkok. In 2024, CH. Karnchang was awarded the tender to conduct design and civil works for the MRT Orange Line's western extension. CK Power PCL CH. Plew Trivisvavet (, born September 10, 1945) is a Thai businessman and chairman of the board of Bangkok Expressway and Metro. Trivisvavet founded CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited with his four brothers in 1972. He previously served as CEO and chairman of the board until 2015, when he was succeeded by his daughter Supamas Trivisvavet. The Xayaburi Dam is a run-of-river hydroelectric dam on the Lower Mekong River, approximately east of the town of Sainyabuli (Xayaburi) in northern Laos. Commercial operation of the dam started in October 2019. The main purpose of the dam is to produce hydroelectric power, 95% of which is to be purchased by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
