CDUAN Basketball
The Clube Desportivo Universidade Agostinho Neto or simply CDUAN, formerly Centro Desportivo Universitário de Angola or CDUA, is a semi-professional basketball club from Luanda, Angola. On March 3, 2005, a decision was made by a General Assembly meeting that the club's name - Centro Desportivo Universitário de Angola (CDUA) - be changed to the current name. BAI Basket
The Angolan Men's Basketball League, (in Portuguese: ''Campeonato Nacional de Basquetebol em Séniores Masculinos''), for sponsorship reasons known as the Unitel Basket, is the top tier men's basketball league in Angola. C.D. Primeiro de Agosto (basketball), Primeiro de Agosto has been the most successful club in Angola with a total of 19 titles won, followed by Atlético Petróleos de Luanda (basketball), Petro de Luanda who have 17 championships. The champions of each Unitel Basket season qualify directly for the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Pavilhão Anexo
The Pavilhão Anexo is an Angolan state-owned indoor arena located in Complexo Desportivo da Cidadela, Luanda. The arena, with a 1500-seat capacity, is the second to be built in the Cidadela Sports Compound, following the Pavilhão da Cidadela. It has a floating, hardwood flooring and electronic scoreboard and is ready for such sports as Basketball, Handball, Volleyball and Roller Hockey. The Agostinho Neto University () is the largest public university of Angola, based in Luanda and in the nearby city of Talatona, in Angola. In the academic year 2005–06, 68 licensing courses were ministered by the university: 18 in Bachelor's and 15 in master's degrees, involving areas of scientific knowledge in the faculties, institutes, and higher learning schools. It is one of seven public (state owned) universities in Angola. Until 2009 the Agostinho Neto University was the country's only public university, and had campuses in all its major cities. In 2009 it was split up, with its campuses outside Luanda becoming six autonomous universities, located in Benguela, Cabinda, Huambo, Lubango, Malange, and Uíge.
