Parassala is a small town located in Neyyatinkara Thehsil near the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It comes under the Thiruvananthapuram district at the southern tip of Kerala. The Communist Party of India (CPI) is a political party in India. The CPI considers the December 26, 1925 Cawnpore (Kanpur) conference as its foundation date. Between 1946 and 1951, the CPI led militant struggles such as the peasant revolt in Telangana, organising guerrilla warfare against feudal lords. The CPI was the main opposition party in India during the 1950s to 1960s.
