Bloodshot (Choir Album)
''Bloodshot'' is the 17th studio release, and 15th full-length studio album, by alternative rock band the Choir, released in 2018. This was the final studio album to feature bass guitarist Tim Chandler, who died in October that same year. Background The four years that followed the release of '' Shadow Weaver'' were a tumultuous period for the band, particularly for lead singer and guitarist Derri Daugherty and drummer and lyricist Steve Hindalong. Daugherty temporarily relocated from Nashville, Tennessee to Cerritos, California, to take care of his ailing father until his death in 2017. Hindalong's 34-year marriage, frequently addressed in many of the band's songs, finally ended in divorce. Guitarist Marc Byrd and his wife Christine Glass Byrd, the latter of whom provided background vocals on several of the Choir's studio albums, left the band permanently. And bassist Tim Chandler's health began to decline, and he died just four months after the release of this album. Despite ...

Bloodshot (song)
"Bloodshot" is the debut single by American singer Dove Cameron, released on September 27, 2019, by Disruptor and Columbia Records, alongside its B-side, "Waste". Background and release Cameron hinted at releasing new music in September in an interview with ''E! News'' in August 2019. She later confirmed that she would be releasing music at the end of September on September 23, 2019, via her social media. She formally announced the release of both "Bloodshot" and "Waste" on September 25, 2019. It was released on September 27, 2019. Cameron described the song to ''Billboard'', saying: Bloodshot' is less specific. I am very known by my label to say 'I hate a breakup song,' which I don't anticipate changing anytime soon. To me, they're boring and they make me itchy. What I love about 'Bloodshot' is that it's not necessarily about a breakup, but it is definitely about a loss of some kind. For me, it's about loss, which I am always trying to put to lyrics." Critical reception B ...

Bloodshot Records
Bloodshot Records is an independent record label based in Chicago, Illinois, which specializes in alternative country music. History Bloodshot Records was founded in 1994 by Nan Warshaw, Rob Miller, and Eric Babcock, who knew each other from jobs in the music industry and from being active in what was then a burgeoning underground country-roots music scene. Warshaw had been promoting, booking, and managing bands for years and also worked as a publicist for the band Killbilly, which released a record on Flying Fish Records, where Babcock worked. She was well known around Chicago as a punk raconteur. Her reputation was confirmed when Kurt Cobain's diaries were posthumously published in 2002 included this mention: "Call Nan Warshaw" appears on his to-do list. Miller moved to Chicago in 1991 from Ann Arbor, Michigan where he helped to produce shows for a local promoter and DJed on a local radio station. He met Warshaw in 1993 at the Crash Palace, a local punk bar where Warshaw ...

Bloodshot (comics)
Bloodshot is a superhero created in 1992 by Kevin VanHook, Don Perlin, and Bob Layton, appearing in comic books published by the American publisher Valiant Comics. The Bloodshot character has had different origins and incarnations, but he is consistently a character empowered by experimental nanites (microscopic machines) injected into his bloodstream, a procedure that leaves a red circular scar on his chest, hence the name. This gives Bloodshot enhanced physical traits, the ability to repair damage to his body, an internal database of weapons and hand-to-hand combat training, and a mental connection to computers (technopathy). A side effect of the use of his powers is that his skin becomes chalk-white and his eyes become red. Other powers vary with each incarnation. The original Valiant Comics character was a mafia hitman named Angelo Mortalli who is experimented on by Project Rising Spirit. After Acclaim Entertainment bought Valiant Comics, writer Len Kaminski with artist S ...

Conjunctivitis
Conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye or Madras eye, is inflammation of the conjunctiva, the thin, clear layer that covers the white surface of the eye and the inner eyelid. It makes the eye appear pink or reddish. Pain, burning, scratchiness, or itchiness may occur. The affected eye may have increased tears or be "stuck shut" in the morning. Swelling of the sclera may also occur. Itching is more common in cases due to allergies. Conjunctivitis can affect one or both eyes. The most common infectious causes in adults are viral, whereas in children bacterial causes predominate. The viral infection may occur along with other symptoms of a common cold. Both viral and bacterial cases are easily spread between people. Allergies to pollen or animal hair are also a common cause. Diagnosis is often based on signs and symptoms. Occasionally, a sample of the discharge is sent for microbial culture, culture. Prevention is partly by handwashing. Treatment depends on the underlying cause ...
