Ang Mo Kio
Ang Mo Kio () is a planning area and residential town situated in the Central Region of Singapore. Located approximately north of the Downtown Core district, Ang Mo Kio is the 4th most populated planning area in the North-East region and ranks 11th in terms of population in the country overall. The planning area is located at the south-western corner of the North-East region, bordered by the planning areas of Yishun to the north, Sengkang and Hougang to the north-east, Serangoon to the east, Bishan to the south and the Central Water Catchment to the west. Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency
The Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the North-East Region of Singapore. It has 5 wards: Teck Ghee, Buangkok–Fernvale South, Seletar–Serangoon, Cheng San and Ang Mo Kio–Hougang, managed by Ang Mo Kio Town Council. The current Members of Parliament are Darryl David, Nadia Ahmad Samdin, Jasmin Lau, Victor Lye and Lee Hsien Loong from the People's Action Party (PAP). History Prior to the 1997 general election, the GRC was expanded to five members from four. During the 2025 general election, the GRC saw its first three way contest between incumbent PAP, People's Power Party (PPP) and new party Singapore United Party (SUP). Nadia Ahmad Samdin
Nadia Ahmad Samdin (ناديا احمد سمدين, born 1990) is a Singaporean politician, lawyer and former media producer. A member of the People's Action Party (PAP), she has been the Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Cheng San division of Ang Mo Kio GRC since 2025, and previously the Cheng San-Seletar division between 2020 and 2025. The Kebun Baru Single Member Constituency is a single member constituency in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. It is managed by Ang Mo Kio Town Council. The current Member of Parliament for the constituency is Henry Kwek from the People's Action Party (PAP). History Kebun Baru Constituency was carved from the now-defunct Ang Mo Kio Single Member Constituency (then known as Ang Mo Kio Constituency) in 1980. It was helmed by Lim Boon Heng throughout its first 11 years of existence. In 1988, it was renamed as Kebun Baru Single Member Constituency with the creation of Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs).
