The Breakfast Creek ( Aboriginal: ''Yawagara '') is a small urban stream that is a tributary of the Brisbane River, located in suburban Brisbane in the South East region of Queensland, Australia. Course and features Rising as the Enoggera Creek that drains the D'Aguilar Range in the D'Aguilar National Park, Breakfast Creek forms near where it flows a short meandering course of before reaching its confluence with the Brisbane River at Newstead, next to Newstead Park. Travelling up the Brisbane River, the creek is the first to join the river on its northern banks. Andrew Lang Petrie (25 June 1854 – 1 April 1928) was a builder, stonemason and politician in Queensland, Australia. He was a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Personal life Andrew Lang Petrie was born in Brisbane on 25 June 1854,Queensland Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages the eldest son of John Petrie and Jane Keith McNaught. Michael Brennan Gannon (1847—1898) was an auctioneer and politician in Queensland, Australia. He was a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Early life Gannon was born in Sydney, New South Wales, in 1847, the son of James Gannon and his wife Mary (née Phelps). After working as a clerk at the Christian Brothers' College Sydney and as a commercial agent with his brother, he relocated to Queensland in 1868. He acquired pastoral experience at Warra Warra and acted as manager for Thorn and a stockbuyer for Davenport. In 1880 he became an auctioneer in Ipswich, Queensland, Ipswich. In partnership with R.A.
