2022 ARCA Menards Series
The 2022 ARCA Menards Series was the 70th season of the ARCA Menards Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the Lucas Oil 200 (ARCA), Lucas Oil 200 on February 19 and ended with the ARCA races at Toledo, Shore Lunch 200 at Toledo Speedway on October 8. Ty Gibbs, the 2021 series champion, ran full-time for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022 and therefore did not return to run full-time in the ARCA Menards Series and defend his title. Nick Sanchez won his first championship in the series in 2022. It was the first championship for Rev Racing in the main ARCA Series and their first NASCAR/ARCA championship since winning the 2012 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, 2012 East Series title with Kyle Larson. Drive For Diversity
The NASCAR Driver Development Program (formerly known as Drive for Diversity / D4D) program is a development system instituted by the American auto racing league NASCAR. The program's purpose is to attract minority and female individuals to the sport, primarily as drivers, but also including ownership, sponsorship, and crew member roles, and to attract a more diverse audience to the sport. Before an applicant is accepted into the program, their resumes are checked by NASCAR officials. The system is similar to a driver development program where applicants progress through minor-league and regional racing levels to prepare them for a possible shot at one of NASCAR's three national series. The program was started during the 2004 season by NASCAR marketing executives in order to attract female and minority fans and drivers to the historically white and male-dominated sport. Leilani Münter
Leilani Maaja Münter (born February 18, 1974) is an American former professional stock car racing driver and environmental activist. She last competed in the ARCA Menards Series, and previously drove in the Firestone Indy Lights, the development league of IndyCar. Early life and education Münter is the child of a Japanese-American mother from the Island of Hawaii and a German father, who was working at the Hawaii State Hospital in Kāneʻohe. Her father relocated to Rochester, Minnesota for work at the Mayo Clinic, where she was born on February 18, 1974. Milka Duno
Milka Duno (born April 22, 1972) is a Venezuelan former race car driver who competed in the IndyCar Series and ARCA Racing Series. She is best known for holding the record of highest finish for a female driver in the 24 Hours of Daytona. She entered the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2014. Her racing career is unusual because of her late start. 2010 ARCA Racing Series
The 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by Re/MAX and Menards was the 58th season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 6 with the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 and ended on October 9 with the American 200 presented by Black's Tire and Auto Service. Patrick Sheltra, driving for his own team, Sheltra Motorsports, won the championship. This season was notable for the season-opening race, the 2010 Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona, which had the largest audience of any ARCA event in the history of the series with 2.4 million viewers tuning in on the Speed Channel. Ritamarie Goulet (née Thomason; born August 25, 1983) is an American professional stock car racing driver and police sergeant. Antoinette Marie Breidinger (born July 14, 1999) is an American professional stock car racing driver and model.
