Sunil Dutt (born Balraj Raghunath Dutt; 6 June 1929 – 25 May 2005) was an Indian actor, film producer, director, and politician known for his work in Hindi Cinema. He acted in more than 80 films over a career spanning five decades and was the recipient of three Filmfare Awards, including two for Best Actor. Shafiqur Rahman Barq
Shafiqur Rahman Barq (11 July 1930 – 27 February 2024) was an Indian politician belonging to the Samajwadi Party. He was elected to the Lok Sabha at various times from Moradabad as the Samajwadi Party candidate and Sambhal, most recently in 2019. He had declared assets worth rupees 1 crore 32 lacs. Career Barq came into the news after taking the oath as a member of the Lok Sabha when he declared that Vande Mataram was against Islam and that Muslims cannot follow it. Barq received widespread criticism for defending the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and equating it with India's own freedom struggle. Positions held Shafiqur Rahman Barq was elected four times as MLA and 5 times as Lok Sabha MP. Death Shafiqur died after suffering from a prolonged illness on 27 February 2024, at the age of 93. Kailasam Balachandar (9 July 1930 – 23 December 2014) was an Indian playwright, film director, film producer, screenwriter and actor who worked mainly in the Tamil cinema. A. Nabeesa Ummal (30 June 1931 – 6 May 2023) was an Indian academic, orator, social worker, and Communist Party of India (Marxist) politician from Kerala. She was the first Muslim woman to pursue a postgraduate degree in Malayalam. Mehli Dinshaw Irani (26 June 1930 – 3 April 2021) was an Indian cricketer, who played as a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. Irani played in the Kanga Cricket League for over 50 years. He made one appearance for Bombay in the Ranji Trophy, and also played club cricket for Bombay University and Parsee Cyclists. Career Irani was a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper.
