Bülent Eken
Bülent Eken (26 October 1923 – 25 July 2016) was a Turkish football (soccer), footballer and coach. After his club career he became a manager and served as a coach for several Turkish clubs.and also for Turkey national football team, Turkish national football team. Career Club career Bülent Eken began his career in 1942 with Galatasaray's A Team. He played as a right-back, left-back, center-back, winger, midfielder, and even as a goalkeeper in this club. Eken won an Istanbul League Championship with Galatasaray. In 1950, he transferred to US Salernitana 1919, Salernitana in Italy and later played one season with Palermo FC, Palermo. He returned to Galatasaray S.K. (football), Galatasaray in 1953 and retired from football a year later. International career Eken played 13 times for the national team. Mersin

Gündüz Kılıç
"Baba" Gündüz Kılıç (29 October 1918 – 17 May 1980) was a Turkish football player and coach. He was Ali Kılıç's son and Altemur Kılıç's brother. Biography Born in 1918 in Istanbul, Gündüz Kılıç attended Galatasaray Lycee and then started his football career as a center forward with Galatasaray SK. He was strong, big, well-educated, sophisticated, charismatic, charming and hungry for success. He never looked flashy, yet was never boring. Kılıç was the mastermind behind the rise of Turkish football schooling football players that would become respectable managers after their career. He was also part of Turkey's squad at the 1936 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. He took a break from his career in 1938, moving to Germany for a university education. Istanbul Football League
The Istanbul Football League () was founded as a regional association football, football league under the name Constantinople Football Association League by James La Fontaine and Henry Pears in Istanbul, the capital of the former Ottoman Empire, in 1904. The Istanbul League was the first football organization ever in the Ottoman Empire and later Turkey. In the inaugural 1904–05 season the matches between the four teams, Moda F.C., Moda FC, HMS Imogene F.C., HMS Imogene, Elpis F.C., Elpis FC, and Cadi-Keuy F.C., Cadi-Keuy FC were played on Sundays, leading to the name of the league, Istanbul Sunday League. Henry Pears, an Englishman and one of the three founders, promised to ultimately award the shield to the club with the most championships won during the initial 10 years. Turgay Åžeren
Turkay Sabit Şeren (15 May 1932 – 7 July 2016) was a Turkish football player, who was a one-time goalkeeper of Galatasaray. He played for Galatasaray between 1947 and 1966 and was capped 52 times for Turkey, including two matches at the 1954 FIFA World Cup. Because of his saves against West Germany in 1951 in Berlin, he is nicknamed as "Berlin Panteri" (Panther of Berlin). He also coached Galatasaray. Şeren was awarded a testimonial match by the club in 1967 in Istanbul, inviting players like Ion Pârcălab, Lev Yashin and Ion Nunweiller. After his retirement, Şeren became a football columnist and a television commentator. He died at age 84 on 7 July 2016. Mehmet Reha Eken (28 August 1925 – 19 August 2013) was a Turkish professional footballer who played as a forward. He was strongly associated with Galatasaray Istanbul because of his long career at the club. On fan club pages he is regarded as one of the greatest players in the club's history. In his four stakes for the Turkey national team, he scored six goals and has with 1.5 the best goal / game ratio of any Turkey national team player.
