Börde Wanzleben was a ''Verwaltungsgemeinschaft'' ("collective municipality") in the district of Börde (district), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The seat of the ''Verwaltungsgemeinschaft'' was in Wanzleben. It was created in 2004 and disbanded on 1 January 2010. Börde (district)
Börde () is a district in Saxony-Anhalt in Germany. Its seat is the town Haldensleben. It takes its name from the natural region Magdeburg Börde. It is the site of the Morsleben radioactive waste repository. The disposal of waste into the facility ended in 1998. Geography The Börde district covers the area west of the city of Magdeburg.
