Bård Kvalheim
Bård Kvalheim (born 17 September 1973) is a Norwegian retired athlete. He is a middle distance runner, with 1500 metres as his best distance (personal record: 3:40.12). He represents IK Tjalve in Oslo. He took part in the 1500 m at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Göteborg. He has national gold from 2005, silver from 2003 and 2006 and bronze from 2002. 1500 Metres
The 1500 metres or 1,500-metre run (typically pronounced 'fifteen-hundred metres') is the foremost middle distance track event in athletics. The distance has been contested at the Summer Olympics since 1896 and the World Championships in Athletics since 1983. It is equivalent to 1.5 kilometers or approximately miles. The event is closely associated with its slightly longer cousin, the mile race, from which it derives its nickname "the metric mile". Oslo

Knut Kvalheim (born 14 June 1950) is a retired Norwegian long-distance runner. He is the brother of Arne Kvalheim. He finished fourteenth at the 1974 European Championships (5000 m), ninth at the 1976 Summer Olympics (5000 m) and ninth at the 1978 European Championships (10,000 m). He also competed without reaching the final at the European Championships in 1971 and 1982. He was a Norwegian champion in 1500 metres in 1973, 3000 metres steeplechase in 1975, 5000 metres in 1974, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1981 and 1982. and 10,000 metres in 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1982.
