Byron Frisch
Byron Arthur Frisch (born December 17, 1976) is a former American football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. He played college football at Brigham Young University. Early years Frisch attended Bonita Vista High School, helping the team win 2 championships. He received league defensive player of the year and All-league honors as a senior. He also practiced wrestling. College career He accepted a football scholarship from Brigham Young University. He suffered a fractured ankle as a redshirt freshman, but was able to recover to start 8 games in the season, tallying 40 tackles, 3 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. As a sophomore, he collected 57 tackles, 9 sacks (led the team), 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an " end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. When most teams adopted a five-man line, two different styles of end play developed: "crashing" ends, who rushed into the backfield to disrupt plays, and "stand-up" or "waiting" ends, who played the more traditional containment style. The 2003 NFL season was the 84th regular season of the National Football League (NFL). Regular-season play was held from September 4, 2003, to December 28, 2003. Due to damage caused by the Cedar Fire, Qualcomm Stadium was used as an emergency shelter, and thus the Miami– San Diego regular-season match on October 27 was instead played at Sun Devil Stadium, the home field of the Arizona Cardinals. This was the first season in NFL history where every team won at least 4 games. The playoffs began on January 3, 2004. Keith Lamarr Hamilton (born May 25, 1971, in Paterson, New Jersey) is a former American football defensive tackle for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and was selected in the 1992 NFL Draft. Hamilton spent his entire 12-season career with the Giants and recorded 63 sacks, placing him fourth on the team's career sack list since sacks became an official statistic in 1982. "Hammer," as he was known, played in 173 games in a Giants uniform, tying him with Harry Carson for sixth on the franchise's all-time list. The 2002 NFL season was the 83rd regular season of the National Football League. The league went back to an even number of teams with the addition of the Houston Texans; the league has remained static with 32 teams since. The clubs were realigned into eight divisions, four teams in each. Also, the Chicago Bears played their home games in 2002 in Champaign, Illinois at Memorial Stadium because of the reconstruction of Soldier Field. The NFL title was won by Tampa Bay when they defeated Oakland in Super Bowl XXXVII, at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California on January 26, 2003.
