Career 2018: Two-year-old season By My Standards's first race was on November 24th, 2018, at Churchill Downs, where he came in second. 2019: Three-year-old season He did not pick up his first win until four races into his career, when he won a Maiden Special Weight race on February 16th at Fair Grounds Race Course. On March 23rd, 2019, he scored an upset win at the 2019 Louisiana Derby. He came in at 22:1 odds and rallied in the stretch against Spinoff. The upset win gained him entry into the 2019 Kentucky Derby. On May 4th, 2019, he competed in the 2019 Kentucky Derby. He was placed at 18:1 odds going into the race, coming a disappointing 11th place. Into Mischief (foaled March 28, 2005) is a retired American Thoroughbred racehorse and active sire. During his racing career, he won three of six starts including the CashCall Futurity. Since his retirement, he has developed into an outstanding sire, leading the North American sire list in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. McKinzie (foaled February 25, 2015) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse who was a multiple graded stakes winner and came first or second in fourteen of his eighteen races. Background McKinzie is sired by 2007 Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense and out of the graded stakes winning Petionville mare Runway Model. Improbable (foaled February 11, 2016) is a champion American Thoroughbred racehorse who was the 2020 Champion Older Dirt Male after winning three Grade One races; the Hollywood Gold Cup, Whitney Stakes, and Awesome Again Stakes. He also came second in the 2020 Breeders' Cup Classic, won the 2018 Los Alamitos Futurity, and came fourth in the 2019 Kentucky Derby as the favorite. Code of Honor (May 23, 2016 – December 23, 2022) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse who won the 2019 Dwyer Stakes, Travers Stakes, and Jockey Club Gold Cup, and came second in the 2019 Kentucky Derby. He was euthanized on December 23, 2022, following an inoperable bout of colic. Fair Grounds Race Course, often known as New Orleans Fair Grounds, is a thoroughbred racetrack and racino in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is operated by Churchill Downs Louisiana Horseracing Company, LLC. As early as 1838 Bernard de Marigny, Julius C Branch and Henry Augustine Tayloe, organized races at the "Louisiana Race Course" laid out on Gentilly Road, making it the second oldest site of horseracing in America still in operation, after Freehold Raceway and before the Saratoga Race Course. It began on April 10 and lasted for five days. In 1852 it was renamed the Union Race Course.
