It collapsed in April 2003 with debts of $220 million, after owners Peter and Tony King were charged with, and later convicted of, fraud. Great Lakes Council (trading as Great Lakes Shire) was a local government area in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The area is situated adjacent to the shores of Port Stephens, Myall Lakes and Wallis Lake and the Pacific Highway and the Lakes Way. Sydney Bus Museum (formerly the Sydney Bus and Truck Museum) is a not-for-profit organisation made up of over 200 volunteer members who preserve a rare, and invaluable collection of historic buses.
