Bury Me Deep in Love is a single released by Australian rock group The Triffids from their album '' Calenture''. It appeared in October 1987 and reached No. 48 on the Australian Kent Music Report Singles Chart. Note: Used for Australian Singles and Albums charting from 1970 until ARIA created their own charts in mid-1988. It was produced by Gil Norton ( Pixies, Echo & the Bunnymen, Foo Fighters) and written by David McComb, the group's lead singer and guitarist. The B-sides "Baby Can I Walk You Home" and "Region Unknown" were produced by Victor Van Vugt and The Triffids. The single was released as 7", 12" & CD single versions. "Bury Me Deep in Love" was covered by Kylie Minogue, in a duet with Jimmy Little, on the 2001 album '' Corroboration''. It was used in the Australian TV soap ''Neighbours'' for the wedding of Harold Bishop and Madge Mitchell. Pixies (band)
Pixies is an American alternative rock band formed in 1986, in Boston, Massachusetts. Until 2013, the band consisted of Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, vocals) and David Lovering (drums). They disbanded acrimoniously in 1993 but reunited in 2004. After Deal left in 2013, Pixies hired Kim Shattuck as a touring bassist; she was replaced that year by Paz Lenchantin, who became a permanent member in 2016. "Into the Groove" is a song by recorded by American singer Madonna, and featured on the 1985 film '' Desperately Seeking Susan''. Written and produced by both Madonna and Stephen Bray, the main inspiration behind the song was the dance floor; the singer wrote it while watching a Latin American man whom she was attracted to. Its instrumentation features synthesizers and drum machines, with Madonna's voice beings double tracked on the chorus. Sexual innuendos and undertones are present throughout the lyrics, which are written as an invitation to dance with the singer. Madge Bishop (also Ramsay and Mitchell) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Anne Charleston. She made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on 20 January 1986. Madge was introduced as the sister of original character Max Ramsay ( Francis Bell). She soon becomes the main matriarch of the Ramsay family. Harold Wayne Bishop is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Ian Smith (actor), Ian Smith. James Oswald Little, AO (1 March 19372 April 2012) was an Australian Aboriginal musician, actor and teacher, who was a member of the Yorta Yorta tribe and was raised on the Cummeragunja Reserve, New South Wales. Little started his professional career in 1951, as a singer-songwriter and guitarist, which spanned six decades. For many years he was the main Aboriginal star on the Australian music scene. His music was influenced by Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis and American country music artist Jim Reeves. His gospel song "Royal Telephone" (1963) sold over 75,000 copies, and his most popular album, ''Messenger'', peaked at No. 26 in 1999 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
