"Burn in Hell" is a song and the first single to be released by English heavy metal band Judas Priest in 1997 for their 13th studio album ''Jugulator''. The song is about the evils that humans do and is featured on the two live albums '''98 Live Meltdown'' and '' Live in London'', both of which were recorded with Tim "Ripper" Owens. The single is also Judas Priest's first with Owens. A music video was produced for the song. It was shortened down to a little over four minutes. Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969. They have sold over 50 million albums and are frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time. ''Jugulator'' is the thirteenth studio album by English heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was released in Japan on 16 October 1997 and the rest of the world on 28 October 1997. It was their first studio album since ''Painkiller'' in 1990 and the first of two studio albums to include lead vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, replacing Rob Halford who left the band in 1992. ''Jugulator'' is the only Judas Priest album that has never been released on any major digital media website, due to German independent record label SPV falling under and going bankrupt around 2009. Groove Metal
Groove metal, sometimes also called neo-thrash or post-thrash, is a subgenre of heavy metal music that began in the early 1990s. The genre is primarily derived from thrash metal, but played in slower tempos, and making use of rhythmic guitar parts. Glenn Tipton
Glenn Raymond Tipton (born 25 October 1947) is an English guitarist. Often noted for his complex playing style and classically influenced solos, he is best known as one of the lead guitarists for the Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Judas Priest. He is the second longest-serving member of the band, after bassist Ian Hill. Tipton and Hill are the only two members of the band who have appeared on every studio album. Early life Tipton was born on 25 October 1947, in Blackheath, West Midlands, Blackheath, Staffordshire, to Olive and Doug Tipton. He attended Olive Hill Primary School when he was about five years old. His brother, Gary, was a guitar player for a local band called the Atlantics. Promotion CMC International held its then biggest promotional campaign to date, which started on September 30, 1997, to coincide with the song's release as a single. Tim "Ripper" Owens
Timothy S. "Ripper" Owens (born September 13, 1967) is an American heavy metal singer who currently performs with KK's Priest, Spirits of Fire, the Three Tremors and "The Tim Ripper Monster Energy Big Band". He first gained attention as the lead singer of Judas Priest and then Iced Earth. He took the nickname "Ripper" from the Judas Priest song "The Ripper" during his time in the tribute band British Steel. Ian Hill
Ian Hill (born 20 January 1952) is an English musician, best known as the bassist of the heavy metal band Judas Priest. Along with lead guitarist Glenn Tipton, he is one of only two members who've appeared on all of the band's studio albums. Judas Priest In 1970, together with schoolmate K. K. Downing, Hill joined heavy metal band Judas Priest. He has been playing bass with the band ever since and is now the longest-serving member of the band, following Downing's departure in 2011. During the early years of the band, he played bass by finger-picking, but since the album '' Killing Machine'' he has played with a pick.
