Alexander Burke (born 1983) is an American musician, songwriter, composer, music producer, television producer, writer and actor. From 2013 to 2016 he was the keyboard player for the band Save Ferris. Early life Alexander was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Laguna Beach and Irvine, California with his parents who are both vested in the arts (his father is a well-respected painter and his mother was an art gallery curator before becoming a therapist). His grandmother, Flora Burke, was an accomplished actress (and an early inspiration to Alexander). Alex Burke
Alex Burke (born 11 November 1977) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Burke, who started his career with Kilmarnock, also played with Falkirk, Clydebank, Berwick Rangers, Queen of the South, Ross County, St Mirren, Dunfermline Athletic, and Ayr United, as well as short loan spells with Clydebank and Dunfermline Athletic. Career Burke started his playing career at Kilmarnock under then manager Alex Totten. Albert Burke (1901–1958) was a French-born professional tennis player of Irish descent who described himself as British but was classed as a representative of Ireland and, on other occasions, of France when playing in international tournaments. In 1924 and 1925 he won the Bristol Cup tournament, which was at that time the principal competition for tennis professionals. Family Albert Burke, born at Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1901, was a son of Thomas Burke, one of the earliest tennis professionals. His father had been the tennis coach at Dublin's Lansdowne Club (where the champions Joshua Pim and Frank Stoker were among those he guided) before moving to France in 1897 at the behest of Victor Voss. Alan S. Burke (September 15, 1922 – August 25, 1992) was an American conservative television and radio talk show host who was on the air primarily in New York City from 1966 to 1969 on WNEW-TV. Life He was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1922. He graduated from the University of Richmond. He became a sportscaster at a radio station in Petersburg, Virginia. He married Claire Canniff and they had two sons, David Jonathan Burke and Morris Daniel Burke. Aggrey Washington Burke FRCPsych (born 1943) is a British retired psychiatrist and academic, born in Jamaica, who spent the majority of his medical career at St George's Hospital in London, UK, specialising in transcultural psychiatry and writing literature on changing attitudes towards black people and mental health. He has carried out extensive research on racism and mental illness and is the first black consultant psychiatrist appointed by Britain's National Health Service (NHS). During his early career, Burke conducted studies on the mental health of repatriates at Bellevue Hospital, Jamaica, and concluded that repatriation caused significant psychological harm. Aedanus Burke (June 16, 1743March 30, 1802) was a soldier, slaveholder, judge, and United States Representative from South Carolina.
