Middle Persian, also known by its endonym Pārsīk or Pārsīg ( Inscriptional Pahlavi script: , Manichaean script: , Avestan script: ) in its later form, is a Western Middle Iranian language which became the literary language of the Sasanian Empire. al-Burj (), also spelled Borj, is a village in northern Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria. Nakheel Tower
Nakheel Tower () was a planned skyscraper on hold in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by developer Nakheel. The project was previously called Al Burj ( "The Tower"). While the proposal changed over time, the tower was intended to be the tallest building in the world, surpassing the Burj Khalifa which was completed in 2010. In January 2009, it was announced that the project was put on hold due to financial problems caused by the Great Recession. As a result of the Dubai World 2009 debt standstill, Nakheel Group's financial problems increased considerably and the tower was cancelled in December 2009. The Uptown Dubai Tower 1 or Burj 2020 is a under construction megatall skyscraper to be built in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It will include multiple amenities that will serve for various purposes. The Burj Vista also known as The Grand Boulevard Tower is a twin-tower skyscraper complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates consisting of a 66-story tower and 20-story tower. Both towers are residential and consist of 520 and 120 apartments respectively. It was designed by Adrian Smith, who also designed Burj Khalifa. Burj Jumeirah () is a proposed Observation tower project near Burj Al Arab in Sufouh district of Dubai. It was initially expected to be completed in 2023. As of January 2022, construction has not begun. More worryingly all references to the tower have been removed from the developer's website, Dubai Holding. The Al Fattan Marine Towers is a complex in the Dubai Marina section of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The towers are located within Jumeirah Beach Residence, a 40-tower, 7,000 unit residential and hotel development which runs alongside Dubai Marina. The Jumeirah Burj Al Arab (, ), commonly known as Burj Al Arab, is a luxury hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Burj Al Alam ( English: "World Tower") was a proposed 108-story, hyperboloid skyscraper in the Business Bay area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, though the project's roots are in a 101-storey design called "Fortune 101" and slated for the Dubai Marina area. It was designed to resemble a crystal flower. If constructed, it would have become one of the world's tallest buildings.
