Irene Burillo Escorihuela (born 23 July 1997) is a Spanish professional tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of No. 207 in singles, achieved in January 2022, and No. 272 in doubles, achieved on 7 August 2023. She has won six singles titles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, ITF Circuit. Early life Burillo Escorihuela was born in Caspe, Province of Zaragoza, Zaragoza. Ricardo Burillo
Ricardo Burillo Stholle (27 March 1891 – 21 July 1939) was a Spanish police and military officer who played an important role during the Spanish Civil War. As the police chief in Barcelona, he was responsible for the repression and dismantling of the POUM in 1937. Throughout the war, he became commander of several military units, such as the 9th Division, the III Army Corps and the Extremaduran Army. In Franco's historiography, he has been identified as one of the top Republican leaders who was responsible for the murder of the right-wing politician José Calvo Sotelo, an accusation that Burillo always rejected. Life Burillo was born in Córdoba on March 27, 1891, within an aristocratic and conservative family. Jordi Burillo Puig (; born 7 December 1972) is a retired tennis player from Spain. He won one singles title and a doubles title on the ATP Tour in his career. His style was very aggressive and powerful, hitting always the ball and serving very hard. He won the title in Bologna and played the final of Florence in 1993. In 1995, he played his last final of ATP level until his retirement, in Palermo. In 1997, Burillo won the Open Castilla y León, considered best Challenger of the world by this date.
