Bure Valley Railway
The Bure Valley Railway is a minimum gauge visitors' attraction in Norfolk, England, Norfolk, England. It was created on the original disused trackbed of a standard gauge railway to incorporate a new, adjacent pedestrian footpath. The railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham () and is Norfolk's second longest heritage railway. It uses both steam and Diesel engine, diesel locomotives but has recently purchased a Battery Electric Locomotive to join the fleet. There are intermediate halts at Brampton, Norfolk, Brampton, Buxton, Norfolk, Buxton and Coltishall. There are 17 bridges, including a -long girder bridge over the River Bure in Buxton with Lammas, and the Aylsham Bypass Tunnel under the A140 road, A140 at Aylsham. The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway (RH&DR) is a gauge light railway in Kent, England, operating steam and internal combustion locomotives. Norfolk Railway
The Norfolk Railway was an early railway company that controlled a network of 94 miles around Norwich, England. It was formed in 1845 by the amalgamation of the Yarmouth and Norwich Railway opened in 1844, and the Norwich and Brandon Railway, not yet opened. These lines were built out of frustration that the Eastern Counties Railway line that was expected to connect Norwich to London failed to be completed.
