Aenne Burda
Aenne Burda (28 July 1909 – 3 November 2005), born Anna Magdalene Lemminger, was a German publisher of the Hubert Burda Media, Burda Group, a media group based in Offenburg and Munich, Germany. She was one of the symbols of the Wirtschaftswunder, German economic miracle. Biography Aenne Burda was born in Offenburg, German Empire. She chose her name after the popular song ''Ännchen von Tharau''. She was the daughter of a Fireman (steam engine), steam engine fireman. She left convent high school at 17 and became a cashier at the Offenburg electricity company. In 1930 she met printer and publisher Franz Burda, son of Franz Burda, the founder of the Burda printing company. The couple married a year later, on 9 July 1931. Franz Burda (24 February 1903 – 30 September 1986) was a German publisher. He inherited his father's publishing business, which he developed into what is now the Hubert Burda Media conglomerate. Early life and family Burda was born in Philippsburg. He received his doctorate in 1927, at the University of Erlangen with an economic history of the development work of the Baden-products markets. Career In 1967 Burda placed 3rd in the all-around at the USSR Championships (also the USSR Spartakiade that year) as well as placing 2nd on balance beam and floor exercise. At the end of the year, Burda won the junior all-around competition at the USSR Cup as well as winning gold medals in the balance beam and floor exercise finals, which combined junior and senior gymnasts. Mykyta Valeriyovych Burda (; born 24 March 1995) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Kolos Kovalivka. Club career Born in Yenakiyeve, a city village in Donetsk Oblast, Mykyta began playing football in Yahotyn, Kyiv Oblast, where he attended local sports school. When he was sixteen, Burda transferred to Dynamo Kyiv football academy, where he began playing for Dynamo Kyiv youth and reserve squads. ''Qasīdat al-Burda'' (, "Ode of the Mantle"), or ''al-Burda'' for short, is a thirteenth-century ode of praise for Muhammad composed by the Shadhili mystic al-Busiri of Egypt. The poem, whose actual title is "The Celestial Lights in Praise of the Best of Creation" (), is famous mainly in the Sunni Muslim world. It is entirely in praise of Muhammad, who is said to have been praised ceaselessly by the afflicted poet, to the point that Muhammad appeared in a dream and wrapped him in a mantle or cloak; in the morning the poet discovers that God has cured him. ''Bānat Suʿād'', a poem composed by Ka'b ibn Zuhayr was originally called ''Al-Burda''. He recited this poem in front of Muhammad after embracing Islam. Muhammad was so moved that he removed his mantle and wrapped it over him.
