Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo () is a Moscow Metro station in the Severnoye Butovo District, South-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, Russia. It is the southern terminus of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line. Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo, which opened in December 2002, is the newest station of the line. It was named for the street on which it is situated, which, in turn, is named for Dmitry Donskoy. It is also the first station of the system built outside the MKAD beltway encircling most of the city. The Moscow Automobile Ring Road (), or MKAD (), is a ring road running predominantly on the city border of Moscow with a length of 108.9 km (67.7 mi) and 35 exits (including ten interchanges). Ulitsa Starokachalovskaya () is an underground station on the Butovskaya Line of the Moscow Metro subway system in Moscow, Russia. The station, opened with four other light metro stations on 27 December 2003. Its design is unique, as it contains two separate platforms on either side of another metro station, Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line. Name It is named for the street under which the station lies. Building The station is built with a type of iron-concrete and shiny glazed marble, with sconces in small alcoves hanging above benches for passengers waiting for the next train. Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy (; 12 October 1350 – 19 May 1389) was Prince of Moscow from 1359 and Grand Prince of Vladimir from 1363 until his death. He was the heir of Ivan II. He was the first prince of Moscow to openly challenge Mongol authority in Russia. In traditional Russian historiography, he is regarded as a Russian national hero and a central figure of the Russian Middle Ages.
