Bullet For My Valentine (EP)
''Bullet for My Valentine'' is the first EP by Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine (not including EPs released as Jeff Killed John). It was released on 15 November 2004 through Visible Noise in the UK. The song "Hand of Blood" was released as a music video to promote the EP. The song "Cries in Vain" would later appear on the band's full-length debut, ''The Poison''. This EP is not available on the U.S. version of iTunes. All five songs would later be re-released in the US on ''Hand of Blood'' EP along with "4 Words (To Choke Upon)" (previously a Japanese bonus track) added to the beginning of the EP. Bullet For My Valentine
Bullet for My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is currently composed of Matthew Tuck (vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar), Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias (bass). Former members include Michael Thomas, Jason James and Nick Crandle; the latter were on bass. They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. A change of style from that of Jeff Killed John led the band to change their name. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. Matthew Tuck
Matthew Tuck (born 20 January 1980) is a Welsh musician, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine. He is also a guitarist and singer in the supergroup AxeWound, which was formed in 2012. Career Bullet for My Valentine formed in 1998 under the name Jeff Killed John and were originally a nu metal band. After bassist Nick Crandle left in 2003, they picked up Jason James as their new bassist and renamed the band Bullet for My Valentine. They have released seven studio albums and four EPs. Tuck is also the backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist in the supergroup AxeWound. On 22 June 2007 it was announced that he needed a tonsillectomy.
