Bulaki Das Kalla (born 4 October 1949) or Dr. B.D. Kalla, is an Indian politician from Bikaner Rajasthan. He is Former minister of Education (primary and secondary), sanskrit education, arts, literature and culture & ASI in Rajasthan government. Family and education He has done BSc, MA (Economics), LLB and PhD. He is the son of Giridhari Lal Kalla. He married Shiv Kumari Kalla on 10 February 1971. Career Kalla began his career in 1974 as a lecturer in a B.J.S. Rampuriya College in Bikaner. Then he turned towards politics and served as an MLA from Bikaner city in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly upon winning assembly elections five times i.e. in 1980, 1985, 1990, 1998 and 2003. Kalla served as the Minister for Secondary Education from 1990 and 2003 and did justice to his position with his previous experience in the education sector. Dr. B.D. Bikaner () is a city in the northwest of the States and territories of India, state of Rajasthan, India. It is located northwest of the state capital, Jaipur. It is the administrative headquarters of Bikaner District and Bikaner division. Formerly the capital of the princely Bikaner State, the city was founded by Rao Bika, a Rajput Tribal chief, chief of the Rathore dynasty in 1488 CE and from its small origins it has developed into the fourth largest city in Rajasthan.
