Bukit Chagar RTS Station
Bukit Chagar station is a rapid transit interchange station on the Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS situated in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The station derives its name from the nearby Bukit Chagar neighbourhood, located to its south. It is one of only two stations along the RTS Link, the counterpart being Woodlands North in Singapore. Expected to commence operations in 2026, Bukit Chagar will mark a significant milestone as the first rapid transit station within the state of Johor and the first outside the Klang Valley. In tandem with its inauguration, an autonomous rail rapid transit (ART) system is also planned to be integrated with the station, enhancing last-mile connectivity within Johor Bahru's urban transport infrastructure. Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System
[ , , , , , ] The Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link is an international cross-border rapid transit system that will connect Malaysia's second largest city, Johor Bahru and Woodlands, Singapore, Woodlands, Singapore, crossing the Strait of Johor. The link has two stations, with the Malaysian terminus at Bukit Chagar RTS station, Bukit Chagar station and the Singaporean terminus at Woodlands North MRT/RTS station, Woodlands North station, which also interchanges with Singapore's Thomson–East Coast MRT line. Johor Bahru Sentral (also known as JB Sentral) is an integrated transport hub in Bukit Chagar, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. Autonomous rail rapid transit (ART) is a lidar (light detection and ranging) guided bi-articulated bus system for urban passenger transport. Woodlands North MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Woodlands, Singapore. The station is the northern terminus of the Thomson–East Coast Line (TEL).
