Bujar Spahiu (born 26 February 1976) is an Albanian Muslim scholar who has been the Grand Mufti of Albania since March 2019. He is also the chairman of the Sunni Muslim Community of Albania. His predecessor was Skënder Bruçaj. Previously, he served as vice chairman of the Muslim Community of Albania. Spahiu had been director of the Department of Education in the Muslim Community of Albania. Early life Spahiu earned a degree in theology from Al-Azhar University in Egypt. Bujar Osmani (, born 11 September 1979) is a North Macedonia, Macedonian politician of Albanian descent who served as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (North Macedonia), Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia from 2020 until 2024 and Minister of Health from 2008 until 2011. Bujar Faik Nishani (; 29 September 1966 – 28 May 2022) was an Albanian politician. He served as the president of Albania from 24 July 2012 to 24 July 2017. Nishani was the youngest person to have been chosen as president of Albania, taking office at the age of 47.
