Bujang Lapok (film Series)
The ''Bujang Lapok'' ("Old Bachelor") film series consists of five comedy films: # '' Bujang Lapok'' (1957) # '' Pendekar Bujang Lapok'' (1959) # ''Ali Baba Bujang Lapok'' (1960) # ''Seniman Bujang Lapok'' (1961) # ''Bujang Lapok Kembali Daa'' (1985) It is not a direct sequel as there are no canonical references to the events in its predecessor. Ali Baba Bujang Lapok
''Ali Baba Bujang Lapok'' ( English: ''Ali Baba the Old Bachelor'') is a 1961 Singaporean Malay-language black-and-white comedy film directed by, written by and starring Malaysian silver-screen legend P. Ramlee and produced in Singapore by Malay Film Productions Ltd. Based loosely on the story of Ali Baba from 1001 Arabian Nights, the film is occasionally self-referential and contains elements of anarchic comedy, burlesque comedy, satire and farce. The title includes the suffix ''Bujang Lapok'' because it is the third instalment in the '' Bujang Lapok'' series of comedy films that star the trio of P. Ramlee, S. Shamsuddin and Aziz Sattar. Ahmad Lai Bujang
Ahmad Lai bin Bujang (26 November 1949 – 9 August 2019) was a Malaysian politician who had served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sibuti from March 2008 to May 2018. He was a member of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and formerly the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalitions. Ahmad Lai was elected to Parliament in the 2008 general election as the Sibuti MP, defeating Michael Teo Yu Keng of Pakatan Rakyat (PR). Prior to his election as an MP, he was the Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sarawak Abdul Taib Mahmud. He was reelected in the 2013 general election. He declined to seek for reelection in the 2018 general election for health reasons. Death On 9 August 2019, Ahmad Lai died at the National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur at the age of 69. Hardi Bujang
Hardi Bujang (born 19 October 1984) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a midfielder. He played for the Brunei national football team between 2006 and 2008, gaining 11 caps and scoring three goals for the Wasps. Club career Hardi previously played for QAF FC from 2003 until 2015, when he joined Jerudong FC after QAF waived entry to the 2015 Brunei Super League. Between 2006 and 2009, he was a member of Brunei's sole professional team DPMM FC which played in Malaysia and then Singapore, but still turned out for QAF FC domestically. He scored 18 goals for the Jerudong club to finish the 2015 season as the league's top scorer. Karim Bujang
Karim bin Bujang is a Malaysian politician from GAGASAN. He was the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Bongawan from 1990 to 2013 and was formerly a Chairman of WARISAN. Politics He was a member of USNO before it merged with BERJAYA to form UMNO Sabah in 1991. He had held the post of Secretary-general of Barisan Nasional Sabah. Muhammad Mardi Mirza bin Abdullah, formerly known as Mardi Anak Bujang (born 19 October 1984) is a Bruneian footballer who last played for Kasuka FC as a midfielder. Mardi spent most of his footballing career at QAF FC, with a brief spell on loan at DPMM FC in 2008. He moved to Jerudong FC after QAF FC waived entry to the 2015 Brunei Super League. Bujang Valley
The Bujang Valley () is a sprawling historical complex and has an area of approximately , with the discovery of a set of new iron smelting sites, Sungai Batu site enlarging the settlement area to . Bujang Valley situated near Merbok, Kedah, between 1,217-metre Mount Jerai in the north and Muda River in the south. It is the richest archaeological area in Malaysia. The area consists of ruins that may date more than 1,500 years old. More than 50 ancient pagoda temples, called '' candi'' (pronounced as "chandi"), have also been unearthed. The most impressive and well-preserved of these is located in Pengkalan Bujang, Merbok. The Bujang Valley Archaeological Museum is also located that known as Sungai Batu, excavations have revealed jetty remains, iron-smelting sites, and a clay brick monument dating back to 110 AD, making it the oldest man-made structure to be recorded in Southeast Asia.
