Build! Build! Build! Infrastructure Plan
The Build! Build! Build! Infrastructure Program (BBB) was the infrastructure program of Duterte administration, the administration of Rodrigo Duterte, the 16th president of the Philippines. A key component of DuterteNomics, his socioeconomic policy, the program aimed to reduce poverty, encourage economic growth and reduce congestion in Metro Manila, and address the country's infrastructure gap. Launched on April 18, 2017, the program also included the continuation of 44 infrastructure projects under previous administrations. The Build! Build! Build! program was superseded by the Build Better More (BBM) infrastructure program of Presidency of Bongbong Marcos, the administration of Duterte's successor, Bongbong Marcos; government officials have described the new program as an expansion of the BBB program. LRT Line 6 (Cavite)
The Light Rail Transit Line 6 is a proposed rapid transit system in Cavite, Philippines. There have been two proposals for the line, with the first one shelved immediately in 2018. Cebu Light Rail Transit System
The Cebu Monorail Transit System, simply known as the Cebu Monorail, was a proposed monorail rapid transit system to be built in Metro Cebu, Philippines. Originally proposed by the Japanese in 2015 as the Cebu MRT System, it was revised to a light rail line in the late 2010s, dubbed the Cebu Light Rail Transit System or Cebu LRT. It was then again revised to its present form in late 2019. Mindanao Railway
The Mindanao Railway, previously known as the Trans-Mindanao High Speed Railway, is a proposed railway system in Mindanao, the southernmost major island of the Philippines. Originally proposed in 1936 as part of Manuel L. Quezon's efforts to strengthen the presence of Commonwealth government in Mindanao against the rising influence of Imperial Japan before World War II, the line was shelved. Other proposals and studies were made in the 1950s, 1990s, and the 2000s, but never materialized. The current line began development in 2018; however, construction has yet to start. PNR South Long Haul
The PNR South Long Haul, also known as the PNR Bicol, was a proposed inter-city rail line project in southern Luzon, Philippines. It is part of the larger Luzon Rail System, a network of long-distance standard-gauge lines being built by the Philippine National Railways throughout Luzon. It is one of the two lines would have reconstructed the historic PNR South Main Line, along with the electrified North–South Commuter Railway South section to Calamba, Laguna. Panay Railways
Panay Railways, Inc. is a government-owned and controlled corporation of the Philippines that formerly operated railway systems on the islands of Panay and Cebu. It is headquartered in La Paz, Iloilo City, and is a subsidiary of Phividec Railways, Inc. under the Philippine Veterans Investment Development Corporation (PHIVIDEC).
