Buffy Dee
Buffy Dee, born Anthony DeSantolo (1923–1995), was an Italian-American actor and musician. Buffy Dee suffered from Polio as a child and spent a short portion of his life in wheelchair. Although he recovered, he was left with a slight limp. He went to school for law and finished his degree at the University of Miami. He married Eleanor Korn. He did not have any children. ''Lady Ice'' is a 1973 American crime film directed by Tom Gries, and stars Donald Sutherland, Jennifer O'Neill, and Robert Duvall. The story concerns an insurance investigator who becomes involved with a wealthy young woman he suspects of fencing stolen jewelry. Plot In a Miami hotel room, insurance agent Andy Hammon (Sutherland) surprises Tony Lacava, a jewelry fence, at gunpoint and retrieves a diamond necklace that Lacava had concealed under his clothes. While working at a garage Hammon encounters Paula Booth (O'Neill), a wealthy young woman who leaves her car to be repaired. Poliomyelitis (often simply called polio) is an acute viral infection that involves the gastrointestinal tract and occasionally the central nervous system. Poliovirus is acquired by faecal–oral or oral transmission. Prior to the introduction of a polio vaccine in 1955, infection was common, with epidemics during the summer and autumn of temperate countries. Polio eradication efforts have reduced the number of estimated polio cases worldwide by more than 99% since the mid-1980s.
