''Buffalo Bill Rides Again'' is a 1947 American Western film starring Richard Arlen. It is also known as Return of Buffalo Bill. Plot Realizing that some seemingly worthless lands in the West are actually rich in untapped oil, entrepreneur JB Jordon wishes to purchase the lands cheaply, form a corporation, and sell its shares at a large profit. When the company's plans are thwarted by settlers who refuse to sell, Jordon hires a gang of local outlaws to terrorize the settlers. As part of the plan, three members of the gang, including their secret leader, businessman ED Simpson, shoot a Native American fur trapper and frame rancher Tom Russell for murder by dumping the furs in Tom's cabin. In nearby Redfield, Simpson tells the sheriff that he saw Tom shoot the Indian. Before the sheriff can arrest Tom, the murder victim's tribe, led by Brave Eagle, discovers the hidden furs and attacks Tom's ranch. Paula Hill (also credited as Mary Hill or Sue Henderson) was a Hollywood film and television actress mostly active in the 1950s. Biography She was born Paula Mary Hill in 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama. In some of her early films, she was credited as Mary Hill, including her most known lead role in the 1953 sci-fi film ''Mesa of Lost Women''. Jack Irving Schwarz (December 19, 1896January 6, 1987) was an American independent producer of low-budget feature films in the 1940s and 1950s. Early life Schwarz was born in Chicago, the son of Adolph Schwarz, a traveling clothing salesman, and Dora (Goodman) Schwarz, according to the 1910 US census. He operated a small chain of movie theaters in Kentucky and Indiana in the 1930s, and decided to enter the more lucrative field of film production in 1942. Movies Schwarz became a staff producer for Producers Releasing Corporation (PRC), the smallest of Hollywood's studios with national distribution. Jennifer Holt (born Elizabeth Randolph Holt; November 10, 1920 – September 21, 1997) was an American actress. Early years She was born in Hollywood, California to actor Jack Holt and his wife, Margaret Woods. She was the sister of Western actor Tim Holt. Her education included schooling at convents in Belgium, Santiago College in Chile, and The Bishop's School in La Jolla, California.
