BASe Airlines Zrt., formerly also named ''Budapest Aircraft Service'', is a Hungarian regional airline based at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport in Budapest. Besides charter services it operates public service obligation routes. History BASe Airlines was established in December 1991 by experienced aviation pilots and technicians. The company was based in Budapest, so Budapest-Ferihegy Airport was chosen as the basis for the operations. The flight operations began with two leased LET L-410 and included charter and freight flights. From that moment onwards, scheduled passenger flights to neighboring countries began, such as Austria, Ukraine and Croatia, under the call sign of the former AVIAEXPRESS. Starting in 1992, on behalf of foreign partners, night flights were made to Austrian, Slovak and Italian destinations from Budapest, Zagreb and Ljubljana. The Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia is a twin-turboprop 30-passenger regional airliner, commuter airliner designed and manufactured by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. The EMB 120 began development during 1974. MALÉV Ltd. (), which did business as MALÉV Hungarian Airlines (, abbreviated ''MALÉV'', ), was the flag carrier of Hungary from 1946 until 2012. Bell 206
The Bell 206 is a family of two-bladed, single- and twin-engined helicopters, manufactured by Bell Helicopter at its Mirabel, Quebec, plant. Originally developed as the Bell YOH-4 for the United States Army's Light Observation Helicopter program, it was not selected by the Army. Bell redesigned the airframe and successfully marketed the aircraft commercially as the five-place Bell 206A JetRanger. The new design was eventually selected by the Army as the OH-58 Kiowa.
