Buckeye Gymnastics
Buckeye Gymnastics is an American women's artistic gymnastics academy, with two locations in Westerville and Powell. It was home to Olympic Champion Gabby Douglas during her 2016 Olympic comeback. History Buckeye Gymnastics was founded in November 1982 by former Ohio State University gymnast, David Holcomb and partner Alan Ashworth. January 1983 in a 4,600 square foot facility, and served merely 52 gymnasts at that time. Buckeye Gymnastics then moved to a new, larger building in 1986. During this time PanAmerican Games gymnast Tracy Butler trained at the gym. Holcomb became the sole owner of the gym in the late 1990s after acquiring Ashworth’s percentage of the company. The gym moved into its current building in 2001, a 15,000 square foot facility located in Westerville, which was expanded to 21,000 square feet soon afterwards, and which underwent a further 5,600 square foot expansion and renovation in 2016. Cecil Doggette
Cecil Doggette (born November 15, 1970, in Queens, New York) is a former Arena Football League Defensive specialist. He played college football at Hudson Valley Community College and West Virginia. In his career, Doggette played for the Columbus Destroyers, Detroit Drive, Arizona Rattlers, Grand Rapids Rampage, and various National Football League and NFL Europe teams. High school years Doggette attended Bayside High School in Queens and was a standout in football and track. Nia Dennis
Nia Camille Dennis (born February 23, 1999) is a retired American collegiate artistic gymnast. She was a member of the USA National Team from 2012–16. She is the 2014 Pacific Rim team champion and junior all-around and vault silver medalist. She was a member of the UCLA Bruins women's gymnastics team. Gymnastics career Career beginnings 2010–12 Dennis competed at the 2010 Covergirl Classic in the 10-11 Hopes Division, where she placed second. In 2011 Dennis qualified to Junior International Elite status. She qualified to the Covergirl Classic in the Junior division. She finished 21st of 36 participants, with a score of 50.450 and therefore did not advance to the National Championships. All Olympia Gymnastics Center
The All Olympia Gymnastics Center or AOGC is a one-facility gymnastics gym in Calabasas. The head coaches are 1983 World Vault Champion Artur Akopyan and 1980 Olympian Galina Marinova. Their notable elite gymnasts are 2012 Olympic Champion McKayla Maroney, 2010 World Team Member Mattie Larson and Stanford Cardinal Samantha Shapiro. History AOGC has had numerous successes at National Level as well as on the International stage, representing Team USA.
