Bubble Baba Challenge
The Bubble Baba Challenge is an event held in the rapids of Vuoksi River in Russia whereby contestants race in the water using sex doll A sex doll (also love doll, fuck doll or blowup doll) is a type of anthropomorphic sex toy in the size and shape of a sexual partner. The sex doll may consist of an entire body, or just a head, pelvis, or other body part (vagina, anus, mouth, pe ...s as flotation devices. It began in 2003 and is staged every year. In 2011 around 800 people participated in the race, but in 2012 it was banned by the authorities because of "dangerously high water levels" work that was being done to repair the roads and rail bridges downstream. Organisers disputed the ban, claiming that it was only effected as part of a country-wide clamp down on mass gatherings. Participants of either gender are allowed to compete but are required to be aged 16 or over and must pass a compulsory alcohol test. Event has been restarted in 2021. Vuoksi River
The Vuoksi (russian: Вуокса, historically: "Uzerva"; fi, Vuoksi; sv, Vuoksen) is a river running through the northernmost part of the Karelian Isthmus from Lake Saimaa in southeastern Finland to Lake Ladoga in northwestern Russia. The river enters Lake Ladoga in three branches, an older main northern branch at Priozersk (Käkisalmi), a smaller branch a few kilometers to the north of it, and a new southern branch entering further southeast as Burnaya River (Finnish: Taipaleenjoki), which has become the main stream in terms of water discharge.
