Brynn Arens
Brynn Arens (born April 7, 1961) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is best known as guitarist and frontman of the rock band Flipp, as well as guitarist for the alternative rock band Zen From Mars. He is also the founder of ''Brynn Co.'', which is his own model of guitar amplifiers created from vintage radio consoles. Early career In the early 80's, Arens was a member of the hard rock band Obsession, the band changed their name to Funhouse who, along with producer Mick Ronson, became the first band ever to record at Prince's Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Funhouse then changed their name to Rattling Bones, and had their song "Monkey in the Jungle" featured on the soundtrack for the 1993 comedy film Surf Ninjas; the band would dissolve shortly after. Cheap Trick is an American Rock music, rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1973 by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, lead vocalist Robin Zander and drummer Bun E. Carlos. The current lineup of the band consists of Zander, Nielsen and Petersson. Cheap Trick released their Cheap Trick (1977 album), self-titled debut album in 1977 and, later that year, found success in Japan with the release of their second album, ''In Color (album), In Color''. Chasing Amy
''Chasing Amy'' is a 1997 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Kevin Smith and starring Ben Affleck, Joey Lauren Adams, and Jason Lee. The film is about a male comic artist (Affleck) who falls in love with a lesbian woman (Adams), to the displeasure of his best friend (Lee). It is the third film in Smith's View Askewniverse series. The film was originally inspired by a brief scene from an early film by a friend of Smith's. In Guinevere Turner's '' Go Fish'', one of the lesbian characters imagines her friends passing judgment on her for "selling out" by sleeping with a man. Smith was dating Adams at the time he was writing the script, which was also partly inspired by her. The film received mostly positive reviews, praising the humor, performances and Kevin Smith's direction. Tom Lord-Alge (born January 17, 1963) is an American music engineer and mixer. He began his career at The Hit Factory in New York. Subsequently, he was the resident mixer at what used to be known as "South Beach Studios", located on the ground floor of the Marlin Hotel. Lord-Alge received two Grammy Awards for his work on Steve Winwood's ''Back in the High Life'' (1986), and '' Roll with It'' (1988), both winning in the 'Best Engineered Recording – Non-Classical' category. Conrad Uno
Conrad Uno is an American record producer and founder of the independent record label PopLlama Records. Uno began his career making his own music as a teenager in his makeshift basement studio. At the request of his friends, the Young Fresh Fellows, Uno produced their debut album ''The Fabulous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest''. When the band decided to release their debut album themselves, Uno founded PopLlama Records to help with the release. Kik Tracee was a 1990s hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1988, during the last years of the glam metal movement, before the influx of grunge and alternative rock. Stephen Shareaux (born September 16, 1965) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as lead vocalist for the hard rock band Kik Tracee. He is a solo artist as well as lead vocalist and co-founder of alternative rock band Zen From Mars which includes members of Bang Tango, Enuff Z'Nuff, Flipp, and Fear Factory.
