Bryan Marchment
Bryan William Marchment (May 1, 1969 – July 6, 2022) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He played in the National Hockey League for the Winnipeg Jets (1972–96), Winnipeg Jets, Chicago Blackhawks, Hartford Whalers, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Calgary Flames between 1989 and 2006. He worked as a scout for the Sharks at the NHL level and as a part-time coach in the Sharks organization following his playing career. Early life Marchment was born in Scarborough, Toronto, Scarborough, Ontario, on May 1, 1969. He played in the 1982 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Mississauga. The Winnipeg Jets are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg. Chris Norton
Chris Norton is a former American football defensive back who played Division III football for the Luther College Norse. His football career ended in 2010 when he became paralyzed while making a tackle during a kick off in a game against Central College. He was given a 3% chance of ever regaining movement below the neck but has continued to recover some sensation and mobility throughout his body—including his hands, legs, feet and torso. Today he lives in Florida with his wife where he manages his non-profit foundation and works full-time as a motivational speaker. Winnipeg Jets (1972–1996)
The Winnipeg Jets were a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg. They began play in the World Hockey Association (WHA) in 1972. The club joined the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1979 after the NHL merged with the WHA. Due to mounting financial troubles, in 1996 the franchise moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and became the Phoenix Coyotes (the former name of the now inactive Arizona Coyotes). Belleville Bulls
The Belleville Bulls were a junior ice hockey team, founded in 1981 and based in Belleville, Ontario. The team played in the Eastern Division of the Eastern Conference of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The team relocated to Hamilton, Ontario, at the end of the 2014–15 OHL season. History The Belleville Bulls started in 1979 as a Junior Tier II team in the OHA.
