Bryan Flannery
Bryan Flannery (born December 24, 1967) is an American politician who served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. He was also a Democratic candidate for the 2006 Ohio gubernatorial election, losing to eventual winner Ted Strickland. Early life and education Flannery was born in Lakewood, Ohio. Flannery's grandfather, Joseph E. Flannery, served as a member of the Cleveland City Council. His father, James Flannery, was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1966 to 1972. Flannery was an all-Ohio tackle at St. Edward High School and also played on the 1988 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. Career Flannery has worked in the oil, healthcare, and insurance industries. He also served as a member of the Lakewood City Council from 1994 to 1998. Dan Brady (Ohio Politician)
Daniel R. Brady of Cleveland, Ohio, is an American politician of the Democratic party. Brady holds a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from Ohio University. An early staff member of Ohio Citizen Action, Brady was a member of the Cleveland City Council from 1986 to 1996. Brady was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 1996 and served one term. He was elected to the Ohio Senate in 1998. In 2001, he was elected Senate minority whip by the Democratic caucus. Jennifer Brunner
Jennifer Lee Brunner (born February 5, 1957) is an American attorney, politician, and judge. She is currently an associate justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, a position to which she was elected after serving as a judge on the Ohio Tenth District Court of Appeals. A member of the Democratic Party, Brunner also served one term as Ohio Secretary of State from 2007 to 2011 and unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. Senate in 2010. Prior to being elected Secretary of State, Brunner worked in the Ohio Secretary of State's Office and served as a County Judge in Franklin County, Ohio. In 2022, she was defeated by fellow associate justice Sharon Kennedy in an election to become Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court. Charleta B. Tavares is a former member of the Ohio Senate. She represented the 15th District from 2011 to 2018. The secretary of state of Ohio is an elected statewide official in the state of Ohio. The Secretary of state (U.S. state government), secretary of state is responsible for overseeing elections in the state; registering business entities (corporations, etc.) and granting them the authority to do business within the state; registering secured transactions; and granting access to public documents.
