Bruno Le Roux (; born 2 May 1965) is a French politician of the Socialist Party (France), Socialist Party who served as the Minister of the Interior of France from December 2016 to March 2017. Political career Le Roux was a member of the National Assembly of France where he represented the Seine-Saint-Denis department and was the leader of the Socialist, Radical, Citizen and Miscellaneous Left, Socialist, Ecologist & Republican Group. He led the Socialist Party (France), Socialist Party in the National Assembly of France, National Assembly from 2012 until 2016. The 2011 French Socialist Party presidential primary was the first open primary (''primaires citoyennes'') of the French Socialist Party and Radical Party of the Left for selecting their candidate for the 2012 presidential election.
