Bruiser (album)
Bruiser is the third studio album by English band The Duke Spirit. It was released in 2011 and was produced and mixed by Andrew Scheps. "Everybody's Under Your Spell" had previously been released as the lead track of the band's ''Kusama'' EP from 2010, and "Surrender" and "Don't Wait" were released as singles with accompanying music videos. "Surrender" is featured in the soundtrack of the 2012 video game Forza Horizon, on the in-game radio station "Horizon Rocks". The Duke Spirit
The Duke Spirit are an English rock band formed in London in 2003 and now based between the UK and Australia. Their sound has been seen as a melding of influences ranging from alternative rock bands such as The Jesus and Mary Chain and Spiritualized, the tremulous rock'n'roll of bands such as The Gun Club and The Patti Smith Group, to distinctive rhythmic Atlantic soul and Motown influences. Singer Liela Moss has released several solo records and also performs together with Toby Butler in the electro-rock duo Roman Remains. Drummer, Olly Betts is also an established record producer. Andrew Scheps is an American mix engineer, recording engineer, record producer, and record label owner based in Los Angeles and the United Kingdom. Richard File (born 19 November 1975) is a British composer, music producer, and vocalist best known for his work with James Lavelle as part of Unkle. Omnichord
The Omnichord is an electronic musical instrument introduced in 1981 by the Suzuki Musical Instrument Corporation. It allows users to play distinctive harp-like arpeggios produced through an electronic strum plate, simulating the experience of playing a stringed instrument. Originally conceived as an electronic autoharp, the Omnichord found popularity due to its portability, unique timbre, and kitsch value.
