Maurice Bruce McAllister (born November 27, 1954) is the seventh president of Bob Jones University. Bruce McAllister was reared in a middle-class home in Decatur, Huntsville, and Hartselle, Alabama. He earned all his degrees at Bob Jones University: Bachelor of Arts in Bible Education, 1977, Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies, 1979, Master of Divinity, 1988, and Doctor of Ministry, 1995. As an undergraduate student, he was chaplain of the junior class and president of the senior class and of the University Ministerial Association. McAllister spent most of his career in various roles at BJU, including Bible teacher at Bob Jones Academy, 1978–1983; Assistant to the Director of Ministerial Training and Extension, 1978–1991; Director of Ministerial Training and Outreach, 1991–2014; and Director of Pastor Relations, 2015–2019. Joshua Crockett
Joshua Leigh Crockett (born January 17, 1979) is a Baptist pastor and the sixth president of Bob Jones University. Crockett earned a Bachelor of Arts in rhetoric and public address, a master's degree in counseling, and a Master of Divinity from Bob Jones University. He earned a Doctorate of Ministry with an emphasis on expository preaching from Liberty University in 2020. In 2004, Crockett began ministering in his home church, Grace Baptist, Anderson, Indiana, and led Indiana Christian Academy. He also served as vice president of the Indiana Fundamental Baptist Fellowship and was member of the board of the Indiana Association of Christian Schools. In 2015, Crockett became pastor of Morningside Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina. Crockett serves as chair of Open Door Baptist Missions and also serves on the board of Elijah's Harbor, a Christian retreat center. Bob Jones University (BJU) is a private university in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. It is known for its conservative and evangelical cultural and religious positions.
