Bruce Brown (basketball)
Bruce Brown Jr. (born August 15, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Miami Hurricanes and was selected 42nd overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2018 NBA draft. He played High School basketball at Wakefield Memorial High School, and later Vermont Academy. High school career Brown played basketball and football for Wakefield Memorial High School in Wakefield, Massachusetts. For his junior season, he transferred to Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Vermont. As a senior, Brown led his team to the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Class AA title and was named tournament most valuable player. He was selected to play in the 2016 Jordan Brand Classic. Brown was considered a five-star recruit by 247Sports and ESPN and a four-star recruit by Rivals. Brown was ranked no. 26 overall recruit and fifth best shooting guard in the 2016 high school class. ...

Bruce Alan Brown (December 1, 1937 – December 10, 2017) was an American documentary film director, known as an early pioneer of the surf film. He was the father of filmmaker Dana Brown. Biography Brown's films include ''Slippery When Wet'' (1958), '' Surf Crazy'' (1959), ''Barefoot Adventure'' (1960), ''Surfing Hollow Days'' (1961), ''Waterlogged'' (1962), and his best known film, ''The Endless Summer'' (1964), which received nationwide theatrical release in 1966. Considered among the most influential in the genre, ''The Endless Summer'' follows surfers Mike Hynson and Robert August around the world. Thirty years later, in 1994 Brown filmed '' The Endless Summer II'' with his son Dana. He also made a number of short films including ''The Wet Set'', featuring the Hobie-MacGregor Sportswear Surf Team and one of the earliest skateboarding films, ''America's Newest Sport'', presenting the Hobie Super Surfer Skateboard Team. Bruce W. Brown (born 6 October 1951) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne and Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). From Essex Heights originally, Brown started his VFL career at Melbourne. He played six senior games for Melbourne in the 1971 VFL season and performed well in the reserves, sharing a Gardiner Medal with Bob Heard of Collingwood. He spent the 1972 season at Essendon, played for Port Melbourne in 1973 and two years later joined Brunswick.
