"Brrr" is a song by German singer-songwriter Kim Petras. The song was released on 20 January 2023 by Republic Records as the first and only promotional single from Petras' major-label debut studio album ''Feed the Beast'' (2023). The track features production work by Ilya. Composition ''NME'' Emma Wilkes described the song as an " industrial-inspired pop track". Writers for ''Billboard'' called "Brrr" a "hypnotic" hyperpop track, and the ''Dallas Voice'' said the song has "industrial beats and bad bitch energy". Cillea Houghton of ''American Songwriter'' said, "The song features a throbbing beat layered by Petras’ crisp vocals as she takes on the persona of a fearless character." ''Feed the Beast'' is the debut studio album by German singer Kim Petras. It was released on 23 June 2023 through Amigo and Republic, following two mixtapes that Petras self-released four years prior. A pop and dance album, ''Feed the Beast'' explores themes of love, heartbreak and hedonism, filled with sex-positive lyrics on many of its songs. It was preceded by the lead single "Alone" with Nicki Minaj, and includes collaborations with Banks and Sam Smith. Kim Petras (born 27 August 1992) is a German singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Between 2016 and 2020, she released music as an independent artist under her own imprint, BunHead Records, before signing with Amigo and Republic Records in 2021.
