''Brother Johnny'' is a studio album by American musician Edgar Winter. It was released on April 15, 2022, via Quarto Valley Records. Recording sessions took place at Capitol Studios and at EastWest Studios in Hollywood, and at Infinite Spin Recorders. Production was handled by Ross Hogarth and Winter himself, with Bruce Quarto serving as executive producer. Edgar Winter
Edgar Holland Winter (born December 28, 1946) is an American multi-instrumentalist, working as a vocalist along with playing keyboards, saxophone, and percussion. His success peaked in the 1970s with his band the Edgar Winter Group and their popular songs "Frankenstein (instrumental), Frankenstein" and "Free Ride (song), Free Ride". He is the brother of late blues singer and guitarist Johnny Winter. Early life Winter was born to John Winter II and Edwina Winter on December 28, 1946, in Beaumont, Texas. John McFee (born September 9, 1950) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist, and long-time member of The Doobie Brothers. Wayne Bergeron
Wayne Bergeron (born January 16, 1958) is an American trumpeter. Bergeron rose to prominence as a member of Maynard Ferguson's band in the 1980s. Since then, he has worked on over 500 TV and motion picture soundtracks. As a lead and studio player, he is notable both for his ability in the upper register of the instrument (as in his screaming trumpet work in the soundtrack for the 2004 Disney/Pixar animated movie ''The Incredibles'') as well as his versatility (as in his cornet solo on the Final Jeopardy theme). Bergeron is on faculty at the Los Angeles College of Music and is principal trumpet for the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. Warren Haynes
Warren Haynes (born April 6, 1960) is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known for his work as longtime guitarist with the Allman Brothers Band and as founding member of the jam band Gov't Mule. Early in his career he was a guitarist for David Allan Coe and The Dickey Betts Band. Tim Pierce
Tim Pierce (born 1958 in Albuquerque) is an American session guitarist. He has worked for artists such as Joe Cocker, Crowded House, Goo Goo Dolls, Michael Jackson, Beth Hart, Roger Waters, Alice Cooper, Johnny Hallyday, Phil Collins, and the Cheetah Girls. Pierce's parents were not musicians, although, unbeknownst to Pierce, his father used to play the trumpet in his youth. He first tasted mainstream success in the early 1980s, when he began recording with Rick Springfield, who was enjoying success with his hit " Jessie's Girl". Taylor Hawkins
Oliver Taylor Hawkins (February 17, 1972 – March 25, 2022) was an American musician who was the drummer and a vocalist of the rock band Foo Fighters, sharing vocals with Dave Grohl. He joined the band in 1997, and remained the band's drummer until his death in March 2022. He recorded eight studio albums with Foo Fighters between 1999 and 2021. Before joining the band, he was a touring drummer for Sass Jordan and Alanis Morissette, as well as the drummer of the progressive experimental band Sylvia.
