Polski Związek Motorowy
The Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (; PZM, PZMot) is an automobile club and the governing body of motorsports in Poland. It is based in Warsaw. Established in 1950 by merging the Polish Car Club and the Polish Motorcycle Association. According to its charter, the PZM deals with propagation of knowledge and motor cultures, it leads operations in favor of safety in road traffic, and it promotes motor tourism and camping, as well as supporting the antique vehicle hobby. It organizes driving schools, it provides assistance for motorists in cases of break-downs, it inspects repair garages and service stations, it is involved in sales of new and used cars, it acts as an agent for vehicle insurance policies, as well as issuing some travel documents, providing information for tourists, booking of hotels and ferry tickets. Rybnik Stadium
Rybnik Stadium (Polish - Stadion Miejski w Rybniku) is a motorcycle speedway and association football stadium located in the northern part of Rybnik off Gliwicka 72. The stadium is the home arena of Polish speedway team KS ROW Rybnik who compete in the Team Speedway Polish Championship. The capacity is 10,304 (all seated) and the stadium forms part of the wider complex known as the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center. History The stadium opened in June 1939 and underwent significant redevelopment in the winter of 2000, the track was rebuilt, a new drainage system was installed and renovation of the stands took place. Marian Spychała Speedway Stadium
The Marian Spychała Speedway Stadium () formerly the Stadion Kolejarz, is an 8,000-capacity motorcycle speedway stadium in Opole, Poland. The venue is used by the speedway team Kolejarz Opole, who compete in the Team Speedway Polish Championship. History The stadium was built before World War II and featured an athletics track. During the war the stadium (which could hold 2,600 spectators of which 600 were seated) was destroyed. The stadium was rebuilt as a speedway stadium in 1957. It underwent an expansion in 1960 with 5,000 seats and 3,000 standing areas, before becoming the home of Kolejarz Opole in 1961. Since 1988 the speedway track has measured 321 metres. On 2 July 2015, the stadium was renamed after a former rider, Marian Spychała, who was a prominent team manager for Kolejarz Opole. Motor Lublin was the name given to several Polish motorcycle speedway teams that existed in the city of Lublin in Poland. In 2017, a new team called Klub Motorowy Cross Lublin was founded and is the current team competing in the Polish leagues from Lublin. Early history Speedway racing in Lublin first took place on 21 September 1947, when Lubelski Klub Motocyklowy organised a friendly tournament. In 1948, local activists led an initiative to build a speedway track.
