Broken Dimanche Press
Broken Dimanche Press (BDP) is an international publisher and art platform founded by John Holten and Line Madsen Simenstad in 2009 in Berlin. History The name of the press was inspired by Yves Klein's Dimanche-Le Journal d’un Seul Jour, a one-day newspaper that he published and distributed on newsstands. Broken Dimanche Press is a European press interested in all aspects of books within the wider discourses of contemporary art and politics. Founded in Berlin in 2009 by John Holten and Line Madsen Simenstad, BDP has executed many book projects, exhibition, reading series and interventions across Europe. BDP has a staff of three, including academic Ida Bencke, and works in ongoing collaboration with FUK Graphic Design Studio. It mainly publishes experimental literature and contemporary art. John Holten
John Holten is an Irish-born novelist, artist, and curator He is a co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Berlin-based publishing company Broken Dimanche Press. He is a curator at NR / Projects, in Berlin Mitte. Since autumn 2015 Holten is a columnist for the Contemporary Food Lab. The Readymades and The LGB Group The LGB Group, the Eastern European avantgarde art collective Holten helped to revive in ''The Readymades'' (with Serbian artist and filmmaker Darko Dragicevic), enjoyed exhibitions in many cities as well as being included in The Armory Show, New York in 2012. Anne Duk Hee Jordan
Anne Duk Hee Jordan is a Korean-German artist, born in Korea in 1978. She lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Early life and education Anne Duk Hee Jordan, an orphan from Korea, was adopted by a German couple at the age of four, and grew up in a small village in West Germany. She was trained as a Rescue Diver, deep sea diver, and free diver. She was also trained as an occupational therapist, specializing in Kinaesthetics. She started her art education at 27, when she enrolled at the Berlin Weissensee. Disappointed by the program after several of her professors left the school, she joined Olafur Eliason’s Institute for Spatial Experience in 2012 as a master student. Martin John Callanan
Martin John Callanan, (born 1982 in Solihull, West Midlands) is a British conceptual artist working in Scotland. He taught at the Slade School of Fine Art from 2008-2019. Key exhibitions include White Cube Mason's Yard, Or Gallery, Berlin, Casal Solleric, Spain, Whitechapel Gallery, London, Imperial War Museum, International Film Festival Rotterdam and Whitstable Biennale. In 2013 Callanan was awarded the Philip Leverhulme Prize, an award for young academic researchers. Richard Mosse
Richard Mosse (born 1980) is an Irish conceptual documentary photographer. Early life and education Mosse was born in Kilkenny, Ireland. He lives and works in New York and Berlin. He received a first class BA in English literature from King's College London in 2001, an MRes in cultural studies from the London Consortium in 2003, a postgraduate diploma in fine art from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2005 and a photography MFA from Yale School of Art in 2008.
