Brodzany
Brodzany () is a village and municipality in Partizánske District in the Trenčín Region of western Slovakia. History In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1293. One of the owners – Duke Elimar of Oldenburg, husband of great Russian poet Alexandre Pushkin's niece. Now in Brodzany castle is Pushkin museum. Geography The municipality lies at an altitude of 198 metres and covers an area of 18.291 km². It has a population of about 815 people. Trenčín Region
The Trenčín Region (, ; ; ) is one of the eight Slovak administrative regions. It consists of nine districts ('' okresy''). The region was established in 1996: previously it had been a part of the West Slovak Region () and partly the Central Slovak Region (). Industry is a major sector of the region's economy. Duke Elimar Of Oldenburg
Anton Gunther Friedrich Elimar (23 January 1844 – 17 October 1895) was a duke of Oldenburg, and the son of Augustus, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Princess Cecilia of Sweden. Family Anton Gunther Friedrich Elimar was a child of Augustus, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and his third wife, Princess Cecilia of Sweden, daughter of King Gustav IV Adolf of Sweden. His eldest half-sister Amalia was the first modern Queen-consort of Greece. Elimar was a charming prince and tried his best to please his worried father. Slovak Car Registration Plates
