Brock Comegys Vradenburg (born March 20, 2002) is an American professional baseball first baseman who is a free agent. Career Amateur Vradenburg attended Maranatha High School in Pasadena, California and played college baseball for the Michigan State Spartans. He was named first-team All-Big Ten Conference as a junior after batting .400 with 13 home runs and 69 RBI. Vradenburg played summer collegiate baseball for the Lexington County Blowfish of the Coastal Plain League in 2021 and 2022. Miami Marlins The Miami Marlins selected Vradenburg in the third round (78th overall) of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft. A first baseman, abbreviated 1B, is the player on a baseball or softball team who fields the area nearest first base, the first of four bases a baserunner must touch in succession to score a run. The Beloit Sky Carp are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. The Jupiter Hammerheads are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and the Single-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They are located in the town of Jupiter in Palm Beach County, Florida, and play their home games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Opened in 1998, the park seats 6,871 people.
