Broadmeadows Valley Park is an area of undeveloped land stretching from the northern extents of Meadow Heights to the southern extents of Jacana in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. A section of The Moonee Ponds Creek flows through the park with a bike track running alongside it. The park includes several sporting grounds with two Australian rules football ovals under the name Jacana Reserve located on Johnstone Street, Jacana. Meadow Heights is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Hume local government area. Meadow Heights recorded a population of 14,890 at the 2021 census. __NOTOC__ The Moonee Ponds Creek Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians, which follows the Moonee Ponds Creek through the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. History A public meeting called by State Member of Parliament for Pascoe Vale, Kelvin Thompson in 1989 to discuss future of Moonee Ponds Creek's future, was attended by more than 50 people and indicated active community investment in its protection and improvement. John Ilhan Memorial Reserve
John Ilhan Memorial Reserve, commercially known as VPEC, Valley Park Events Centre and often referred to as Broadmeadows Valley Park, is an Australian soccer ground in Broadmeadows, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. It is the home of Hume City FC. The venue has a capacity of 4,000 and is the only stadium in the City of Hume that is up to NPL standard. Broadmeadows is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Hume local government area. Broadmeadows recorded a population of 12,524 at the 2021 census.
