Brittni Donaldson
Brittni Donaldson (born April 7, 1993, in Sioux City, Iowa) is an Assistant Coach for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association. She previously served as an Assistant Coach / Director of Coaching Analytics for the Detroit Pistons during the 2022–2023 season and was an Assistant Coach for the Toronto Raptors from 2019 to 2021. Donaldson was the first female coaching hire in franchise history for all 3 organizations. Donaldson played basketball for the Northern Iowa Panthers and graduated in 2015 with a degree in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences. Post-graduation, she became a SportVU Data Analyst at STATS LLC, then was hired as a Data Analyst for the Toronto Raptors in 2017. After Toronto won the 2019 NBA Finals, she was promoted by team president Masai Ujiri to be the 10th active female assistant coach in the NBA. The 2020–21 NBA G League season was the 20th season of the NBA G League, the official minor league basketball organization owned by the National Basketball Association (NBA). The season was indefinitely postponed following the previous season's cessation amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The league used the same type of isolation season as the 2020 NBA Bubble with all games at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Bay Lake, Florida. Briar Cliff University is a private Franciscan university in Sioux City, Iowa. History In March 1929, Mother Mary Dominica Wieneke, Major Superior of the Sisters of Saint Francis of the Holy Family of Dubuque, Iowa, along with Edmond Heelan, Bishop of the Sioux City Diocese, co-founded Briar Cliff College after meeting with members of the Sioux City community, who committed to raising $25,000 to support the establishment of a Catholic women's college in Sioux City. The twelve foundresses of the college were carefully chosen by Mother Dominica. They were led by Sister Mary Servatius Greenen, who was named the first president. On September 18, 1930, the college, named after the hill on which it is located, was dedicated. Four days later, 25 women started classes in Heelan Hall, the only building on campus at the time.
