''British Taekwondo Limited'', operating as British Taekwondo is the National Governing Body for World Taekwondo in Great Britain. It is a member of, and recognised by, World Taekwondo, the international governing body for taekwondo as recognised by the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee. British Taekwondo is also a member of the British Olympic Association (BOA), the British Paralympic Association (BPA) and the European Taekwondo Union (ETU). Aaron Arthur Cook (born 2 January 1991) is a taekwondo athlete who has represented Great Britain (the nation of his birth), the Isle of Man, and Moldova. He has been ranked the number one in the men's −80 kg division on several occasions. He is three-times a European champion having won the −80 kg title at the European Taekwondo Championships in 2010, 2012 representing Great Britain and 2014 representing the Isle of Man, and was the world junior champion in the −78 kg division in 2008. Jade Jones (taekwondo)
Jade Louise Jones (born 21 March 1993) is a Welsh former taekwondo athlete, and boxer. She is the 2012 and 2016 Olympic gold medallist in the women's 57 kg category, and the 2019 World champion, 2016, 2018 and 2021 European champion and both 2015 European Games and 2023 European Games champion at the same weight, the only double gold medalist at her weight in the history of those Games. Michael Paul Harvey (born 21 September 1989) is a British taekwondo practitioner. He is a European champion at bantamweight (under 63 kilograms), a World silver medalist and has competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Early life Harvey grew up in Hyde, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom and as a teenager he attended Longdendale Community Language College in Hollingworth, Hyde. Sarah Stevenson
Sarah Diana Stevenson (born 30 March 1983) is a British taekwondo athlete. A world champion in 2001, Stevenson won her country's first ever Olympic medal in taekwondo, a bronze, at the 2008 Games in Beijing, her third Olympic competition for Great Britain. Controversially eliminated before the medal rounds, she was reinstated following appeal and went on to win the bronze medal final. Stevenson again became world champion in 2011, despite the loss of both her parents to cancer in the preceding year.
